Maximize Your Autoresponder
To Attract All Kinds of Sexy Growth
I can’t stress enough the importance of starting and maintaining your email list with an autoresponder. It took me years to truly understand the benefits of email. I neglected it because I didn’t want to be seen as a ‘spammer’.

But, you know what? No matter what I do, if someone doesn’t want the email I send (even with double-opt-in) they can (and do) mark it as spam. I have no control over that except the little reminder I include in each email I send.
The benefits far outweigh any negatives of owning an email list. Autoresponders are a time saver. They also help me teach my readers and encourages customers to contact me.
In order for you to maximize your autoresponder to accelerate the growth of your business you must:
- qualify your leads
- take full advantage of the software by creating two lists, one for subscribers and another for customers
- keep your business in the minds of your customers
- save time with an auto welcome series
- grow your business by selling to current customers

H Sara,
I agree, if you’re building a business then you should be building a list. The best way to organize that list is by using an autoresponder service because it makes it so much easier to keep in touch with your subscribers.
I’ve been using Aweber for years, it’s still my favorite although I have tried a few others. I like ease of use myself and am happy with their service. I also email my list at least once a week and also have my follow up series for those who are new to my list.
You can always go the free route just to get your feet wet but I hope whichever way people go they will get this set up if they haven’t already.
Thanks for this reminder.

Adrienne, I think you can build a business on just a list alone. Way back before blogging became popular the email ezine was prevalent. It was more personal than just a quick “check out my latest post” or “here is my latest product”. I recall user-generated questions as well as content submitted by users.
If everything goes down - social media and your blog - you still have your email list. Actually, my blog was deleted on blogger in 2013. It was my mailing list that saved me.
I hear many good things about Aweber. I’ve used them in the past and really appreciate their customer service.
Free is good for getting your ‘feet wet’ but eventually, if you are successful at lead generation, you will have to upgrade to allow more subscribers.
Thank you so much Adrienne for stopping by again to leave a comment. You’re smile truly does brighten up my mood.
