1. Choose your article

2. Read it making notes
Choose 10 points from the article (or short report). This piece makes it easy for me. I chose the first 10 tips.
3. Write your introduction
Introduce the topic to the readers. What will they learn? How will it help them?
Start your 2018 health goals today. You don’t need to wait until January, simply add one small habit to your routine each week. I’ll make it easy for you. 10 Ways to change your life in 10-weeks. Join an accountability group for added support.
4. List your takeaways
- Eat Less Sugar
- Move More
- Stay Hydrated
- Eat Soup
- Spend Time Alone
- Spend Time with Loved Ones
- Avoid Sitting Too Much
- Keep Healthy Snacks Nearby
- Take a Nutrition Class
- Get a Bike
Tip: To make your piece unique, I suggest rephrasing these points.
I might turn these into the following:
- Zap Sugar
- Move It
- Drink it Up
- Soup, It Keeps You Healthy
- Take Time for You
- Make Time for Loved Ones
- Get Up Off Your Tush
- Healthy Is, Healthy Does
- Learn Something Delicious
- Pedal Pushers
5. Add a sentence or two (100 words)
The piece has enough information for me to use so I’ll just copy and paste it.
If it didn’t, I’d use tips from my own experience.

This year my son encouraged me to start exercising. It was tough at first but little by little, 5-minutes at a time, I started. Using the 5-second Rule by Mel Robbins helped a lot. I now workout nearly everyday for 40-minutes.
6. Add your conclusion
Just confirm what you’ve shared in your top 10 post, then transition into your call to action. (see step 9)

7. Make it Pretty
Formatting your post and adding images is all part of making your post easy to scan for your reader. Be sure to use subheadings, bold, italics, bullet points, or whatever makes it easier to read your content. Images can be found on Pixabay.com or include your own.
8. Add Social Triggers

9. Add a Call to Action
- What’s the purpose of this content?
- Grow your list?
- Sell your course?
Always ask yourself this question to prevent content that doesn’t convert.
10. Promote your Top 10 Post
Immediately share to Twitter, your FacebookFan page, Pinterest, your email list, etc. Learn more ways to promote your post.
